Gym Report 10/08/2015

I just got back from the gym and I feel GREAT.

I never thought I would be one of those that enjoyed going to the gym, but the more that I go the more I find that I am enjoying going. I feel very good afterward. I love having the time to just walk on the treadmill or ride a bike and watch netflix. I always look forward to my next gym session. For years I always hated the idea of exercise. Not any more. I really have a good time. I feel motivated and excited about it now.

When I first started out going regularly a few weeks ago, I could barely do anything. I could only walk the treadmill for about 10 minutes before I just hurt too bad to do it. Tonight I walked for 30 minutes straight at about 2.9 miles per hour. Then I found a comfortable bike and rode that for an additional 10 minutes. My legs feel like jello but I welcome it.

I love that fact that I am showing improvement each time I go. I don’t know if I have lost any weight yet, but I know that the more I go I will eventually lose some. I can’t wait for the day that I can register on the scale at work. We have a shipping scale that only registers up to 400 pounds. I know I weigh more then that and one day I will register on that scale.

Over the winter I plan on continuing to get into better shape so that next shooting season I can take my game to the next level. I look forward to that.
